Bitcoin.  What is it?  Who uses it?  Who accepts it?  Why should I even care about it?

Those are all great questions.  What started out as an experiment has matured into a highly sophisticated form of commerce.  It is safe to use, and contrary to popular belief, it isn’t just used by drug dealers and other “black market” entities.

Although Bitcoin hasn’t become mainstream yet, companies such as Amazon, Target, Subway and CVS are accepting Bitcoin as payment.  With power players like these betting on the crypto-currency, it is only a matter of time before it becomes accepted at all retailers worldwide.

We at WesterlyLife.com believe in this new form of currency, and we are dedicating a whole section on our site towards educating our readers about the subject.  We do not believe in Bitcoin as an investment right now; it is too volatile of a currency for short term investment.  We do believe in it as a long-term investment, but only if you can afford to lose the money you invest.

We are going to focus on using Bitcoin right now to buy things you use everyday.  There are major players in this space that are doing everything they can to push the adoption of Bitcoin by the masses.  These companies have built products that make buying and using bitcoin effortless.

We are not going to go into the technology that powers Bitcoin — only the information that you need to use the crypto-currency to save up to 50% off your orders at Amazon!  That is not a typo.  How to get a debit card that you can use at any store that accepts VISA to spend your Bitcoins.  The best part is that the store doesn’t need to accept Bitcoin as a payment!

We will show you the “trifecta” of companies we use to save money and profit (again not an investment) from buying and using Bitcoin for your everyday purchases.

All of the companies we use and recommend are based in the United States and take security to the extreme.

We all remember the big fiasco that happened to Mt Gox — a now defunct Bitcoin exchange that was based in Japan — in late 2013/early 2014, where hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin went missing.  Times have changed since then, and this scandal was actually one of the best things to happen to Bitcoin in years.

It brought attention to the crypto-currency and also created new security measures.  New companies emerged to defend this technology, and the industry as a whole implemented security procedures that rival traditional banks.

At the time of this writing 1 BTC (Bitcoin) is worth approximately 426 USD (US dollars).  That is real money.  Money that you use everyday to purchase items such as your coffee in the morning, lunch at work, groceries on your way home, a new TV, a new phone, etc.

All of these items can be purchased using Bitcoin — albeit indirectly, but using Bitcoin nonetheless.  This allows you to take advantage of an uptick in the Bitcoin market.  Let’s say that in the period of 1 month, Bitcoin goes up against the dollar by 5%.  If you bought $100 worth of Bitcoin, and haven’t spent any yet, your Bitcoin wallet just went up $5!  If you had one of the products in our “trifecta”, you could use your Visa debit card and spend that $5!

All of the products in the “trifecta” we recommend, give you access to your money almost instantaneously — if you follow the Bitcoin plan we are going to outline for you.

Again, we are not advocates of buying Bitcoin as an investment — it is much too volatile right now.  We are advocating using this relatively new technology for fun, and buying everyday products at a discount.  We have been using Bitcoin in the manner we are promoting for about 6 months now — and we are having fun!

So stay tuned to WesterlyLife.com as we explain our plan and show you how to have fun with this new exciting technology.

Disclaimer:  We are not investment advisors, nor do we promote investing in Bitcoin at this time.  It is too volatile of an investment, and you could lose A LOT of money if you don’t treat it with the respect it deserves.  Only invest in Bitcoin if you know what you are doing and you have money you can afford to lose!

We are promoting Bitcoin as a vehicle to purchase everyday products at a discount, and have some fun while you are doing it.  We will teach you how to buy/sell and use Bitcoin for everyday living.
