At Westerly Life LLC, we use many online, and offline, tools to build and maintain our network.  Like most people, we use cloud storage for our day-to-day operations.

Whether we are sharing a folder with a new client so they can upload high resolution photos, backing up our internal hard drives, creating a shared folder in Google Drive for our journalists to collaborate easily or one of our freelancers uses a platform that fits their needs, but we do not use.

Keeping all of this information neat, clean and readily available can be a challenge a lot of the time!

In our house, we use Google tools extensively.  That is not to say that we don’t use other tools that are better or even superior to the Google products.  Google Drive we have found to be the best everyday cloud drive because of it’s tight integration with almost EVERY mainstream operating system in use – desktop, tablet and mobile.

We use Dropbox as our cloud backup and deep storage and the challenge has always been –

How do we backup and sync all of these different cloud storage and drive options?

The solution – Cloud HQ!

With Cloud HQ, we can now sync all of the cloud-based apps and drives we use to be productive and backup all of our data to one source.  All of our data is stored in one convenient location and accessible through a simple-to-use interface.

Simplify Team Collaboration and File Management

  • cloudHQ can sync all your data between multiple cloud services and accounts thus simplify team collaboration and file management

For example, cloudHQ can replicate and sync all your Basecamp projects with a folder in Dropbox (or Google Docs or Box). So that all your Basecamp data will be in Dropbox (or Evernote, Google Drive, Box, or SugarSync). Then you can use Dropbox (or Evernote, Google Drive, Box, SugarSync) sharing capability to share the entire folder or just a portion of it with your team members. This means:

  1. All members of your team will have access to Basecamp data (documents, messages, to-dos) both via Basecamp interface or via Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, or SugarSync.
  2. Each team member can just upload files to Basecamp by just ‘dropping’ files into a folder on their PC.
  3. This is also great for sharing things with your clients. You can give your client access to project data by sharing it via Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, Box, or SugarSync.

We highly recommend this amazing software tool that can drastically simplify your online life.  Click here to view their website and learn more about this amazing service.
